Welcome to Car PPF Experts. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and the paint protection film services we provide. By accessing our website, requesting a quote, scheduling an appointment, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
1. Service Description
Car PPF Experts provides professional paint protection film (PPF) installation services for vehicles. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Full vehicle PPF installation
- Partial and front-end PPF installation
- Custom PPF cutting and fitting
- PPF removal and replacement
- Paint correction and surface preparation
- Ceramic coating application
- Consultation and vehicle assessment services
All services are performed by certified, trained professionals using industry-standard tools and techniques. The specific scope of work for each project will be defined in the written quote or work order provided to the customer prior to service commencement.
2. Pricing and Estimates
All pricing is provided through written quotes valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Prices quoted are based on the vehicle's condition, size, and the specific services requested at the time of the estimate.
- Quotes are estimates and may be subject to adjustment if the vehicle's condition differs significantly from what was assessed during the initial consultation
- Any changes to the scope of work after the initial quote may result in price adjustments, which will be communicated and approved before work proceeds
- Additional services requested during or after installation will be quoted separately
- All prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable sales tax unless otherwise stated
- We reserve the right to update our pricing at any time; however, confirmed appointments will be honored at the quoted price
3. Appointments and Scheduling
Appointments can be scheduled via phone, email, or our website contact form. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to the following terms:
- A confirmed appointment is required before any work will begin; walk-in service is subject to availability
- Please arrive at your scheduled time to ensure we can begin work promptly and complete it within the estimated timeframe
- If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible; delays of more than 30 minutes without notice may result in rescheduling
- Your vehicle must be in safe, operable condition and have a valid registration to be serviced
- Please remove all personal belongings from your vehicle before dropping it off for service
4. Cancellation Policy
We understand that schedules change. Please review our cancellation terms:
- Cancellations made 48+ hours before the appointment: Full refund of any deposit, no cancellation fee
- Cancellations made 24-48 hours before the appointment: 50% of deposit retained as a cancellation fee
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment: Full deposit forfeited
- No-shows: Full deposit forfeited and future bookings may require a larger deposit
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us by phone or email as early as possible. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, and we will notify you promptly and work to accommodate your schedule.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is expected upon completion of services unless alternative arrangements have been made in writing prior to the start of work.
- We accept cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), and certified checks
- A deposit of up to 50% may be required for full-car installations and custom projects at the time of booking
- Remaining balance is due in full upon completion and your satisfaction with the work
- Invoices not paid within 30 days of the service date may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance
- All prices are subject to applicable state and local sales taxes, which will be added to the final invoice
6. Warranties
Car PPF Experts stands behind the quality of our workmanship. Our warranties cover the following:
- Installation Warranty: We warrant our installation workmanship for the life of the film. If any defects in our installation are identified (such as peeling edges, bubbles caused by improper application, or lifting seams), we will correct the issue at no additional cost to you
- Film Warranty: Paint protection film products carry manufacturer warranties that vary by brand and product line. These warranties typically cover yellowing, cracking, bubbling, and delamination. Warranty details will be provided with your installation documentation
- What's Not Covered: Our warranties do not cover damage caused by accidents, improper care, unauthorized modifications, environmental damage beyond normal use, or normal wear and tear on high-impact areas
To make a warranty claim, contact us with your installation documentation and photographs of the issue. We will assess the claim and arrange for inspection and correction as needed.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Car PPF Experts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim
- We are not liable for pre-existing paint defects, including but not limited to chips, scratches, swirl marks, or paint imperfections that existed prior to PPF installation
- While PPF provides significant protection, it does not make a vehicle impervious to all damage; we are not liable for damage that exceeds the protective capabilities of the installed film
- We are not responsible for damage to personal property left in the vehicle during service
- We recommend removing all valuables and personal items from your vehicle before dropping it off
8. Vehicle Care and Responsibility
During the installation process, your vehicle will be kept in our climate-controlled facility. We take every precaution to ensure your vehicle is cared for while in our possession. However:
- You are responsible for ensuring your vehicle is in safe, operable condition when dropped off for service
- We are not responsible for mechanical issues, flat batteries, or other non-service-related vehicle problems
- After installation, you will receive detailed aftercare instructions; failure to follow these instructions may affect your warranty coverage
- Any damage to the film caused by failure to follow provided aftercare instructions is not covered under our warranty
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Car PPF Experts website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Car PPF Experts or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our website without our prior written consent.
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute arising from or related to our services, the parties agree to the following resolution process:
- Informal Resolution: Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us and providing a written description of the issue. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve the matter within 30 days of receiving your notice
- Mediation: If informal resolution is unsuccessful, both parties agree to participate in mediation before a mutually agreed-upon mediator, with costs shared equally
- Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which our business is located, without regard to conflict of law principles
- Jurisdiction: Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the state and federal courts located in our business jurisdiction
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Car PPF Experts, its owners, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your use of our services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page, with the "Last Updated" date revised accordingly. Your continued use of our website or services after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
13. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
